How does the 30-day free trial work?

When you choose a paid plan, you get full access for 30 days at no cost. You can cancel anytime during the trial and won't be charged. After 30 days, your chosen plan begins billing monthly.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. You can upgrade from Free to Family or Legacy at any time. You can also downgrade. Your moments and data are always preserved regardless of your plan. You never lose features, only limits change.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your family's data belongs to you. If you cancel a paid plan, you keep access to your vault on the free tier. We never delete your moments. If you want your data exported or removed, contact us and we'll handle it.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use Cloudinary for media storage, Supabase for secure database hosting, and Stripe for payment processing. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.

Sage is your family's own AI. It learns your stories, speaks in your loved ones' voices, discovers patterns across generations, and grows with your teens. Every plan includes Sage. On the Family plan, add Sage for Teens for $2.99/seat/month. Free plan includes 20 messages/month. Family with Sage for Teens gives 200 messages/month plus the Sage Family Dashboard. Can parents see what their teens say to Sage?

No. Parents never see the actual words their teens share with Sage. Instead, you see summaries: general themes like "talked about friendships" or "discussed school stress," an emotional state indicator, and conversation starters you can use to naturally connect. This privacy model is by design. Teens open up because they know their words are private.
